Job Description: FULL TIME POSITION WITH OUR DIRECT CLIENT Job Description: We are looking for a Software Developer who is experienced with software system design and development using java, java scripts, mySQL, C, UNIX, Shell scripts and PERL. The successful candidate will be able to consistently set and meet timelines for programming assignments, eagerly take on our most challenging projects, as well as help resolve problems reported while working in a fast pace dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Perform Java/SQL/UNIX Shell script/C programming on small and large assignments • Participate in multi-resource projects • Evaluate/suggest industry standard tools and methods • Analyze requirements and provide design/development/test effort estimates • Write functional and detail design specifications • Develop application per design specifications • Provide software installation/updates for various environments including QA, UAT, and Production Required Skills: • 3+ years Java programming • 3+ years SQL and Unix Shell • Excellent communication skills • C programming a BIG plus • Cognos Transformer experience a BIG plus • Familiarity with Solaris operating environment a plus • Retail/business background a plus
